Reya's 6th Birthday!

So I just can't believe that my baby girl is 6!  It just blows my mind. We had a little party at home with my parents and then we had a party at a local park where she invited some of her friends to come.  We actually had a great turnout and wonderful weather!  I thought I'd also tell you a little bit about Reya and how she's doing.  Reya is too smart for her own good.  She did so well at Kindergarten this year and was already at the 1st grade level halfway through this year.  We are so very proud of her. She loves to read and color and anything that has to do with princesses.  She loves to dress up in her princess outfits, get her nails painted and put on lip gloss.  She's a very girlie girl.  She also loves to dance to whatever kind of music is playing.  She helps me out so much with her brothers and is a wonderful big sister.
Here she is opening some gifts at home...I think her face says it all.

At the park the kids had a great time playing together...they seemed to just "herd" from one thing to the next following Reya's lead, which I'm sure she thoroughly enjoyed =)

Here they are getting ready to have some cake

What fun it was watching her open presents with all the other kids reactions

Here's all her friends who came. Some were from church and some from school

The boys seemed to have a good time, even though everything was focused on Reya.  Zane spent pretty much the entire time hanging out with Grandpa. Glad he was there!

Grandpa and Grandma come for a visit

So after we got back from Ohio, my parents came to PA for the weekend and were able to be at Reya's Birthday party...(more of that later)  But here are a few pics of their visit.

Here are Zane and Cole hanging with Grandpa. One of the few times they are sitting still instead of playing chase around the house!

And she will probly kill me for posting this, but here are the boys with Grandma reading.  If they aren't running around with Grandpa, then they are usually begging them to read!

Here is Kade and his new short haircut!

We signed Reya up to take swim lessons, and here she is ready to go on her first day.

And this is typical Zane!

And here are the kids after church

While we were in Ohio, Aunt Kiki sent a package that we opened when we got back, she sent a dress for Reya, and cute stuffed turtles for the boys...She got these for the kids on her recent trip to Hawaii!! Super Jealous!

Cole got a mini one!

Trip to Ohio

Well I really wanted to get to Ohio after Reya got out of school, so I planned to drive by myself with the kids for a few days, but at the last minute, Jamey decided to come with me, which was fabulous!  We had a great time, but it was too short and went way too fast.

Here are just a couple pics from our visit to the Toledo Zoo.

And the highlight of staying at Nana and Papa's was definitely the trampoline.  That was all they wanted to do.  This was my favorite pic.

And here's Cole wishing he could get on the trampoline!

Spring and Summer Happenings

There have been so many things going on that I haven't had a chance to post much, so here's a recap of the past few weeks for you!

First up is Kade playing soccer. Poor guy didn't get to play much due to all the rain we had, but when he did get to go he had a great time!

Here is Zane on the bike with his helmet.  He went through a stage where every time he was outside he had to have a helmet on.
Kade went to the Hands on House with his preschool class and they were able to do their own face painting! He's very creative. =)

We found a new park that we really like not too far from our house.  We are going to celebrate Reya's birthday here in a couple weeks. Here are some pics of the kids swinging.

Here's the crew after we took baths reading a book with daddy. I couldn't resist snapping some pics.

And finally here's a few more shots of the kids.  This was Reya's last day of school. Hard to believe that she will be in 1st grade in the fall!
